Don’t Tell My Mom!
MNF Girls’ Mothers’ Day Confessions

We all love our Mothers, and seeing as how Mothers’ Day is this month, we at MNF thought we’d do an article to pay tribute to our mothers, kind of. As much as a fuzzy mother/daughter story would probably touch your hearts we suspected our readers would rather not hear about family trips to knitting class.

Instead we thought we’d share some things our mothers weren’t so proud of. Yes, I think that would definitely be more interesting. These are stories about things that we didn’t want our moms to know, but got caught anyway. I promise we’ll make them good.

One day when I was leaving work downtown I was backing out of a parking space in the parking ramp. I side swiped a pole, scratching up the side of my car and knocking off the driver side mirror. I thought my Mom would never find out because I would just replace the mirror. Unfortunately, I had hit a $50,000 truck in the process of backing out and hadn’t even noticed. The truck’s insurance company called mine, which is under my mom’s name. When my insurance company called my mom questioning the incident… I was busted!

I was always a rebel when I was in high school, always going against my mother’s word.  She always gave me that “don’t drink, don’t do drugs” lecture.  But feeling a little rebellious, I went against her wishes (and the law) and decided to drink for the very first time.   It was me and my cousins. We were 15 and we were home alone and decided to invite a couple friends over who got a hold of some liquor.  Keep in mind that we were still in high school, so we didn’t have much; we just took whatever we could get our grubby little hands on.  Anyway, there were about ten of us splitting a bottle of 99 bananas and a case of corona.  Let me remind you that I was still a virgin-drunk, so it didn’t take a lot of drinks to get me tipsy.  A couple hours went by and my aunt came home. By this time, our friends had gone home and we were passed out.  We had cleaned up the place so it didn’t look like anything had happened… or so we thought.  The next morning my aunt found shot glasses still on the kitchen counter that still smelt like alcohol.  She busted me and the rest of the girls out and told our moms.  Boy, did I get an earful!  I was lectured and things got emotional but I didn’t get punished. I never got punished.  I guess getting screamed at by an Asian lady is punishment itself. If I never w anted to hear it from her again, I wouldn’t drink another drop until I was fully aware that she or anyone else wasn’t around, or that I cleaned up and put away all my crap, ha-ha!

My boyfriend and I decided to spend Mother’s Day Eve together because he was leaving town the next morning to see his mother! We had a very “eventful” night together and had over slept! When we finally got up, my boyfriend decided to bring in mother’s day the right way if you know what I mean! Right at the climax of our sexual activity I looked up to find my mom standing right there! I had forgotten I gave her a key to my apartment and we made plans to go to brunch that morning! Everyone started screaming and my mom ran out of the room! That is one mother’s day my mom and I will never forget.
