I'm a very creative, spunky, fun loving, independent girl!  I think it's extremely important to only surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you, want what's best for you and make you a better person!

  I grew up in the small town of Thief River Falls, MN and was heavily involved in music while growing up.  I think growing up in a small town allowed me to get involved and have the opportunity to be involved in activities that a lot of High School students maybe didn't get to do.  By the time I was a junior in High School I had already performed at Carnegie Hall!  It was absolutely amazing!  I'm very blessed to have an amazing family who has loved, supported and nurtured all of my endeavors.

  I moved to Minneapolis about 8 years ago and quickly got involved in the music scene.  Over the past few years I've had the opportunity to work with Savannah Street music and have completed my first album, had the fortunate ability to be involved in writing music for multiple independent artists and even for an independent film titled "Siren." I've performed all over MN, Washington DC, New York, Las Vegas, and more....It's been a crazy ride and I've loved every new experience.  About a year and a half ago I also started modeling and have been lucky to be involved in runway shows, print work, commercial modeling for Shop NBC, and have had a blast being a spokesmodel for many different local events!

  I think every day is an adventure and I try to live each day as though it's my last.  I appreciate all opportunities that come my way and am looking forward to the future and all it has to offer!

MNF: What is your New Years Resolution?

Kaytee: I have a few actually!  The first is to continue to stay extremely focused in school.  So far I'm a straight "A" student and I want to keep that up!!! The second is to make sure I'm working out at least 4-5 times a week (that can be tough, but it's worth it).  Finally, I want to travel somewhere I've never been this year.  I love seeing different parts of the world and hope to do a little more traveling this summer!

MNF:Have any of your resolutions been succesful? What has been the most

succesful news years resolution for you in the past?

Kaytee: Yes, last years resolution was very successful for me.  My resolution was that I would be making some major changes to go back to college to become an RN and to get a new job!  I actually did both!  I'm usually the type that goes after what she wants and I did it!

MNF: What's your favorite thing about winter?

Kaytee: Hmmm.......I have to admit that I'm not exactly a fan of all the snow and cold weather, but I love Christmas and I'm totally into Winter fashions.  I love putting on a pair of skinny jeans, a cute sweater and a hot pair of boots.

MNF: How did you get into modeling?

Kaytee:  Well, I kind of got my start in modeling by doing photo shoots as an R&B artist.  I recorded my first R&B album a few years ago and had to do a lot of shoots for my album and promo kits.  I'm an entertainer by nature and have always loved every aspect of the entertainment industry so modeling was another passion that I got to explore.  One thing led to another, and I started getting offers to do work as a model as well!  I do have to give major props to POSH Studios as that company gave me many opportunities to get in front of the camera and work with some amazing photographers.

MNF: What hobbies do you have?

Kaytee: Ok, here comes the long list, ya ready?  I love performing, singing, writing music, traveling, laying on the beach (when I can), spending time with my friends, And family, reading, shopping, working out (sort of), swimming, and watching movies!

MNF: Whats your favorite pastime, and why?

Kaytee: Writing, playing the piano, and reading trashy, celebrity gossip magazines! Why?  Writing allows me to emote, playing piano allows me get lost in a moment, and keeping up on the latest hollywood gossip is sheer entertainment!

MNF: What did you think of your MN Finest shoot?

Kaytee: I was so honored to be asked to be a part of this Calendar and was so excited!  The shoot was so much fun and everyone was so wonderful to work with!  I think my favorite part was shooting on the the rooftop of the Cabooze.  It was freezing cold, but it was a complete adrenaline rush!  I definitely have to say "Thank You" for allowing me to be a part of this!  All of the models are absolutely stunning, amazing women and I feel lucky to be a part of it!

MNF: What kind of music do you listen to?

Kaytee: Mostly R&B!  But I can appreciate all types and styles of music.  But R&B music just does something that stirs my soul.

MNF: Had you heard of Rudy from 93x before you did a shoot with him?

Kaytee: Oh jeez I wish I could say "yes", but I have to be honest and say that I hadn't.  However, I do now and it was a blast getting to meet him.

MNF: Was Rudy fun to work with?

Kaytee: Absolutely.  He's a great guy, very funny and was a pleasure to work with!
